Scanza ("the app") is built by Saarvi. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have.
No account required
Scanza does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. There is no login or signup system.
Your scans stay on your device
Scanned documents, exported PDFs, and QR/barcode scan history are stored only on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and the Files system. Scanza does not upload your scanned content to any server.
Analytics
Scanza uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage (for example, how many documents or QR codes are scanned) and to diagnose crashes. This data is associated with an anonymous device identifier, not your identity, and does not include the content of your scans.
Advertising
Scanza shows ads through Google AdMob to support free use of the app. Depending on your App Tracking Transparency choice below, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers as described in Google's own privacy policy.
App Tracking Transparency
After your first successful scan, Scanza asks for permission to use tracking data for personalized ads, as required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You can change this choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you decline or haven't decided, Scanza serves non-personalized ads instead.
Device permissions
Camera access is used only to scan documents and QR/barcodes. Photo Library access is used only if you choose to import or save images. Scanza never accesses these without your explicit action.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
